This is a broad junction room, with the walls lined with benches. Mosaics seem to depict a scene of fires and infernos surrounding the chamber, done in exquisite detail, complete with faintly glowing embers.
- The centermost point of this room contains a pit trap, 10’ by 10’, and some twenty feet deep. The bottom is lined with sharp spikes. Anytime anyone crosses it, there is a 2 in 6 chance the pit will open beneath their feet. It is designed to reset the stones above the round after it triggers, letting them swing back shut.
