12-8 The Lone Treasure Chest

 

This small chamber has a single large chest in the center.

• The chest in the center is just a front. It sits on a pillar in the middle of a 10’x10’ pit, 10’ deep. The pit is concealed by an illusory floor. Those falling through the illusory floor will find that the pit is filled with green slime, and will likely get immersed in it.
• The chest contains a single note.

Treasure: A note, upon which a message is scribbled in elvish. “The real treasure was the slimes you made along the way.”
