2-27 Room of Eyes

 

The walls of this otherwise plain stone room have been painted with a huge number of crude eyes, of various shapes and sizes. There must be hundreds of them.

• Studying the eyes for more than a round or two requires a save vs. spell, or the person studying them will become cursed with paranoia for 2d4 days. While so cursed, the person gets a 1 point bonus to initiative, and a 1 point bonus to AC, but will become suspicious of everyone. Even allies are not above suspicion, to the point where the person may not properly rest and recover hit points or spells during this time. Although they may sleep, it provides no benefit, and is marked by restlessness and nightmares.
